Energy

More so than any other resource, our energy is entirely our responsibility. Energy forms the basis of our health and well-being. Here are some modalities that I’ve personally used. Each offers something different in general, as well as to each specific person. All offer new, exploratory ways of engaging with yourself.

ThetaHealing

An integrative modality that works with mind, body, and spirit together. For me, this is where it all clicked. Enough so that I became certified and built a practice of sharing this healing with others. It forms the basis of my offerings.

Flo Ankah is the teacher and healer that guided me through the process.

Crystal Healing

The mineral kingdom offers an abundance of options for addressing various ailments and imbalances. From carrying them to healing sessions to placing them around your home, crystals are powerful messengers of Earth’s energetic bounty.

The Book of Stones is a fundamental resource.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture works with the meridians to stimulate the flow of chi throughout the body.

If you’re in the NYC area, City Acupuncture is an affordable place to start. Additionally, I had a great experience with Tomomi Tanaka.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient Indian practice that combines breathing, movement, and spirit into an integrated activity. Often used today for stress relief or exercise, its core lies in embodying spirituality.

Forrest Yoga is a very healing style I enjoyed practicing.

Breathwork

Breathwork is the use of breathing techniques as a vehicle for moving stagnant energies through and out of the body.

Practitioners I’ve had positive experiences with: Erin Telford, Paititi Institute.

Sound Healing

Sound healing (commonly referred to as a “sound bath”) utilizes singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, chimes, and other instruments to create entrainment, which harmonizes the body’s frequencies.

I’ve enjoyed attending group sessions with May Lin Le Goff, Nate Martinez, and Basia Blonska.

Akashic Record Reading

Sometimes referred to as “The Book of Life", the Akashic Records are a cosmic history of all of mankind’s activities, free of judgment. Typically used as a means of discovering or understanding a bigger picture view of one’s life or purpose.

Suey Mendez is a powerful reader of the Akashic Records, as well as my wife Corinna Barsan.

Psychedelic Medicine

There are known substances that can alter, deconstruct, reshape, or altogether obliterate our perception of reality. They are helpful in bridging egoic and spiritual consciousness, as well as in releasing past trauma or limiting beliefs about the experience of life.

Finding a trusted practitioner and having proper intention are paramount in having a healing experience with psychedelic medicine.

Channeling

Channeling is an ability to serve as a medium for the spirit realm. Learning to tune into certain frequencies can allow connection and communication.

Some clairaudient channels I listen to: Paul Selig (his offerings), Lee Harris.
